Business Insider UK – 22:03 GMTThe UK’s job market is in flux and the outlook for 2017 looks increasingly grim.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) says the number of people working full-time is set to fall by around 50,000.

It says the jobless rate, a measure of people looking for work, is set at 11.9%.

The ONS says the fall is driven by the impact of the global financial crisis and that there are signs of a recovery in the labour market.

The jobless figure is the biggest since records began in 1851.

But it is expected to fall again this year, to 9.7%.

That means the job vacancy rate is likely to rise to 7.3% as businesses have to find people to fill positions they have vacated.
