You’ll need to be able to communicate well and have a passion for marketing to be a good marketing professional.
You should also be able have a good understanding of the types of jobs you’d like to work in, what you’re paid, and how to get to work with people.
You may also want to consider: what your job entails, and if you’d consider working in a different industry, if you have a particular passion for that particular industry.

Your resume What you’ll need in the first job interview: a copy of your resume (a word document is fine) A resume that you can be proud of.
A resume you can show your friends.
A job application that shows you’ve had an interest in your field for a long time.
A cover letter that you’ve written.
Your references Your references are your best resource for finding out about your work, career, and personal future.
You don’t want to spend any time on your résumé.
What they need to do: Write a letter to your employer outlining why you want to work for them, what it will take to work at their company, and why you’re the best candidate for the job.
Include your full name and contact details, a phone number, a CV, and your references.
Make sure you also list the company you work for, the type of job you’re applying for, and a brief description of what you do.
Make a list of all your references and keep it with you as you apply for the first interview.
You need to send the following: a resume copy (a letter of recommendation is fine too)
